Passive Mobs

Mobs that don't attack the player, even if damage is done to them. All mobs that drop meat, or fish (except for tropical fish)can be cooked automatically if killed by a sword with fire aspect, a bow with flame, or fire. All baby passive mobs don't drop anything, and don't give the player any expierience points when killed.

Pig

Drops uncooked pork chop if killed, and can be ridden if the player has a saddle, and a carrot on a stick. Can breed with other pigs, if both pigs are fed a carrot.

Sheep

Drops mutton, and wool if killed, but if the player use sheers, the sheep drops more wool than you would get from killing it. Can be bred with other sheep if both are fed wheat. Sheep can be dyed with any color dye, and when breeding with a sheep of different color, the baby's color will be the two colors mixed together. The wool dropped by the sheep will be of the color it's woll was, if a sheep has been sheered, and then is killed, it will not drop woll.

Cow

Drops raw beef and has a chance of dropping leather if killed. Can also be milked with a bucket. Can breed if both cows are fed wheat.

Chicken

Drops raw chicken and has a chance of dropping feathers if killed, if chicken is not cooked, and is consumed by the player, ithas a chance of giving the player the hunger effect. Drops eggs every 5 to 10 minutes. Can be bred if both chickens are fed seeds.

Horse

Has a chance to drop leather when killed, but no meat. Can be ridden if the player has a saddle. Can be bred if both are fed golden apples, or golden carrots. Horses have different things they can do, some can jump higher than other, or run faster, or have more health.

Donkey

Has a chance to drop leather when killed, can be ridden if the player has a saddle, but also can have a chest placed on it to carry items. Can be bred if both are fed golden apples, or golden carrots. Donkeys have different traits, some are fastre than others, or can run faster, or have more health.

Mule

Has a chance to drop leather if killed, can be ridden if the player has a saddle, and can also have a chest paced on it. But mules cannot spawn naturally, and can only be spawned by breed a donkey and a horse. Mules aren't all the same, some are faster, can jump higher, or have more health.

Skeleton Horse

Skeleton horses are undead mobs, so they are healed by potions of harming, and damaged by potions of healing. Skeleton horses are found in skeleton traps. There will be one horse by itself, then it will be struck be lightning, and there will then be three horses in total, all with skeletons riding them. Skeleton horses don't need a saddle to be ridden, an can be ridden on underwater, unlike normal horses.

Zombie Horse

Cannot spawn naturally in any way, the only way to spawn is to use the zombie horse egg in creative. Like the skeleton horse, takes damage when hit with a potion of healing, and gains health when hit by a potion of harming. Can also be ridden if the player has a saddle.

Mooshroom

Mooshrooms can be sheered into regular cows, and drop mushrooms when sheered. Can be milked with a bucket, but if milked with a bowl, the bowl will become mushroom stew. Can be turned brown if struck by lightning, and vice versa. Has a small chance of becoming a brown moosroom when two red mooshrooms are bred, and vice versa. If a brown mooshroom is fed a flower, then milked with a bowl, the bowl becomes suspicious stew. If killed, drops raw beef, and has a chance of droping leather.

Bat

Drops nothing when killed, but can sleep by hanging off of blocks.

Rabbit

 Rabbits spawn in deserts, flower forest, taiga, giant tree taiga, snowy taiga, snowy tundras,snowy beach and frozen river biomes. The color of fur depends on the biome they spawn in. Rabbits have a chance of dropping raw rabbit, rabbit's hide, and rabbit's foot when killed. Rabbits can be bred with golden carrots, carrots, and dandelions.

Ocelot

Drops nothing when killed, and only spawns in jungle biomes. If fed raw fish, it trusts the player, and will no longer run away. Ocelots can be fed raw cod, or salmon to breed. Ocelots hunt chickens, and baby turtles. Ocelots are immune to fall damage.

Cat

Can only be found in villages, and a black cat can be found in witch huts also the black cat (spawning in witch huts) cannot despawn.  Stray cats in will attack rabbits, and baby turtles. (Chickens too if you play on java edition.) If at full health, you can feed two cats to have them breed. If found in a village, you must feed it raw fish for it to become your pet. Once it is your pet, it will follow you around, unless sat down. Also scares creepers away. Cats are one of few mobs that can sleep, and cats are immune to fall damage.

Parrot

Parrots can only be found in jungles, and if the player feed a parrot seeds, will become the players pet. Like cats and dogs, parrots can be sat down. Parrots also dance to jukebox music. If fed a cookie, the parrot will die. When killed, drops feather(s).

Fox

Drops nothing when killed, unless it had an item in its mouth, in that case, has a small chance of dropping that item. (Unless on bedrock, then there is a 100% chance of dropping.) Foxes spawn only in tagia biomes, and if a fox spawns in a snowy tagia biome, it will have white fur. Foxes attack chickens, rabbits, salmon, cod, and tropical fish. Foxes prefer to attack chickens and rabbits, while snowy foxes prefer cod, salmon, and tropical fish. When hunting an animal, foxes leap into the air, and land on the prey. If two foxes are bred with sweet berries, the baby fox will trust the player. If the fox has a totem of undying in its mouth, and is killed, the fox will use it, instead of dropping it. Untamed wolves and polar bears attack foxes. Foxes are one of few mobs that can sleep.

Salmon

Drops raw salmon when killed, and spawns in rivers and oceans. If clicked on by a bucket or a bucket of water, it will become a bucket of salmon. If the bucket of salmon is emptied, the salmon spawned cannot despawn.

Cod

Drops raw cod when killed, and spawns in rivers and oceans. If clicked on by a bucket or a bucket of water, it will become a bucket of cod. If the bucket of cod is emptied, the cod spawned cannot despawn.

Tropical Fish

Drops tropical fish when killed. Tropical fish cannot be cooked or eaten. If clicked on by a bucket or a bucket of water, it will become a bucket of tropical fish. If the bucket of tropical fish is emptied, the tropical fish spawned cannot despawn.

Turtle

Has a chance of dropping sea grass when killed. When a baby turtle turns in to a adult turtle, it drops a scute. Most hostile, and neutral mobs will attack turtle eggs. Turtles can be bred with sea grass. Turtles remember where their home beach is, (Where they hatched) and will always return to it to lay its eggs. Turtle eggs can be broken with a silk touch tool, and when replaced, will remember that as their home beach.

Squid

Drops inc sacs when killed, and upon taking damage, sprays ink at the attacker.

Villager

Can only spawn in villages, and most can trade with the player. Villagers have different occupations, and these occupations can be changed if a different work table is present. If attacked, and there is a naturally spawned iron golem present, it will attack the player, or mob. When killed, drops nothing, and no experience points are gained. Villagers can also sleep in beds. To be bred, villagers must be fed beetroot, bread, potatoes, or carrots.

Wandering trader

Spawns with two llamas on leads with it, and when attacked, the llamas will turn hostile. When killed drops two leads, but no experience points. All wandering traders can be traded with by players.

Snow Golem

Cannot spawn naturally. To spawn a snow golem, place two snow blocks, one on top of the other, then place a carved pumpkin, or jack o'lantern on top of the top snow block. If shears are used on them, the carved pumpkin will come off. "Melts" (Takes damage) in savanna, desert, badland, and nether biomes. If it falls in water, fire, or lava, it will melt. If you use a splash potion of fire resistance on it, it will not take damage due to melting until the potion effect runs out. Throws snowballs at all hostile mobs, and also both types of spiders. The snowballs do no damage to the mobs, except to blazes. Takes no fall damage.

(Player spawned) Iron Golem

To spawn an iron golem, the player will need 4 iron blocks, and a carved pumpkin. Place one iron block atop another iron block, and on the top iron block, place two iron blocks on opposite sides of each other, with the top iron block in the middle of the two, then on top of the middle iron block, place a carved pumpkin. (The iron blocks should be in a T shape.) Attacks most hostile mobs, and some neutral mobs. Drops iron, and has a chance to drop a poppy when killed. Unlike a naturally spawned iron golem, this one will not try to kill the player if attacked by the player.

Strider

As of right now, the strider has not been released, but if you play on java edition, you can use the latest snapshot to play with the nether update. The strider only spawns in the nether, and is found walking on lava pools. When killed, drops string. With a saddle the player can ride on a strider, but to be able to control it, you will need a warped fungus on a stick. The player can ride it on land, but will get cold, and its walking speed will decrease. If the strider goes into water, or rain, it will take 1/2 a heart of damage every .5 of a second. To breed striders, the player needs to feed the striders warped fungus.

Pufferfish

The pufferfish is the only passive mob that does damage. The only reason that it is a passive mob is that in never tries to hurt the target. If a player gets too close, and is inflicted with poison damage via the pufferfish, the pufferfish will never become hostile. Pufferfish are found in ocean biomes, and when killed, they drop one pufferfish, and have a chance of dropping bones in Bedrock, and bone meal in Java. If a pufferfish is clicked on with a bucket, or a bucket of water, it will become a bucket of pufferfish. If the bucket is ever emptied, the pufferfish spawned by it cannot despawn.
